 to be precise!

My visit to
Homosassa Springs
was my
first introduction
to these
peaceful giants
of nature

They are an
 inspiration to see!

Manatees

can grow to

13 feet and

over 3000 pounds

  yet are gentle,

 slow moving,

 and harmless.

But harm often

comes to them

 from us.

Particularly

our carelessness

and fast moving

 boats.
