The wsharing site was begun in November 2002 to showcase the photography, poetry, and philosophies of william, along with his various missions and ministries. It is still owned and maintained by william, and this remains its primary purpose.

Today, however, the website (wsharing.com; wsharing.org; and wsharing.net) is an Independent Affiliated Ministry of the Teaching & Sharing Centers non-profit corporation, and as a part of that contractual (non-compensated) agreement william also creates and hosts the pages of the corporation within the site.
